The “Viennese Music Association” is the best concert hall of Vienna that opened in 1870 and is home of the famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Built by the Danish architect Theophil Hansen in neoclassical style and donated by the industrialist Nicolaos Dumba of Greek origin, it is known for its “Golden Hall” where the New Year’s Concert takes place each year and is broadcasted to 90 countries all over the world.
