This tour will take you to most of the major sightseeing spots in the center, you will see the Winter Palace Hofburg, the cathedral of St. Steven, Peter’s church, Plague Column, Graben, Demel Cake Shop, St. Michael’s church, Spanish Riding School, museums area with many important museums like History of Art, Natural History, Imperial Treasure museum, Sisi Museum etc, Austrian Parliament, Volksgarten, St. Augustin church, Hotel Sacher, Opera House, the house of Mozart and many more…
In the additional hour we can either explore some hidden gems of Vienna in the medieval alleys of the city behind the St. Stevens, see some Orthodox churches, the house of Julius Meinl, historical restaurants and walk through the Greek quarter all the way to the Danube quay, OR extend the tour with a visit to the Viennese city hall, the favorite coffee shop of Sigmund Freud, Royal Theater, Beethoven House, Freyung area with many beautiful baroque and renaissance architecture buildings, as well as the wonderful Passage Ferstel and Cafe Central.
