The concerts are held in the Orangery of the Schönbrunn Palace in old, grand style. The Orangery garden was used as a green house by the empress, who kept there her bitter orange trees during winter time at the beginning of the 18th century. It is a long, medieval style hall with a stage at the end of it, and the repertoire of the Schönbrunn Palace orchestra is based on classical music of Strauss and Mozart. 

Schönbrunn palace with its long history, is an area of great interest for everyone that visits Vienna for more than a day.
