The Viennese State Opera that was designed by August Sicard and Eduard van der Null and was built in 1869 in Renaissance Revival style, has a capacity of 1709 seated and 567 standing visitors. It is the home of the Vienna State Ballet, has its own orchestra and is known for the annual Vienna Opera Ball which attracts visitors from all over the world.

It is one of the jewels of the city, and you will realize this as soon as you get to see its beautiful halls, Greek and Roman style statues, golden details and impressive staircases inside the building.
